Many photographers sell prints of their work online. But for me, Kwakushop is about much more than that – it’s also the perfect time to open my collection of exceptional objects, and clear out the archive to make room for the future.

Marrying the traditional idea of the studio store with access to a uniquely personal set of artifacts, found objects, art, and rare vintage publications amassed throughout years of world travel, Kwakushop is a way to spread inspiration to people who share my eclectic passions and interests in culture, design, art, history, and adventure.

From treasured vintage cameras, to a Philippe Starck Bible designed for Visionaire, or the art-meets-crime drug-trafficking board game Frank Gehry presented to me by way of a hearty Venice Beach welcome – the assortment of objects and art being offered here have been integral in my artistic endeavors and career. They are already imprinted with memorable stories, and it’s important to me that they find good homes. As much as I treasure them, with the arrival of my first child, it’s time for me to release them into the world, as I busy myself making room for the new adventures that await me right here at home.
