The image (product) is uploaded at a a minimum width of 655w 436h at 300ppi. WordPress and Jigoshop process the images to the correct dimensions which I have set up with a minimum/maximum height/width dimension. The thumbnails are automatically cropped to 488×411. However, if an image is loaded with the dimensions of 488×411, WordPress and Jigo will automacially scale that image up to accommodate the larger size…not good.
